World Association of Science Engineering

 About WASE

The World Association of Science Engineering, WASE, is an international society for the engineers and the computer scientists incorporated as a non-profit organization headquartered in Hong Kong. WASE has been found by a group of engineers and computer scientists from over thirty different countries. The WASE members include research center heads, faculty deans, department heads, professors, research scientists/engineers, experienced software development directors and engineers, and university postgraduate and undergraduate students, etc.

WASE's charter is WASE in its broadest sense, supporting research, innovation and technology transfer in science engineering, their management and their applications in the service of the Association members and the global society.

Engineers apply the knowledge of the mathematical and natural sciences (biological and physical), with judgment and creativity to develop ways to utilize the materials and forces of nature for the benefit of mankind. The subjects are diverse and include names like bioengineering, computer engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, financial engineering, industrial engineering, internet engineering and systems engineering, etc.

By providing effective and innovative platforms for the generation, dissemination and sharing of research, technology and business information among the respective communities, WASE links ideas with opportunities, industry with policy makers, and provides a gateway for joint exploitation and promotion of research and business communities of Asia and the World. WASE are to promote the co-operation between the professionals in various fields of the engineering and to cultivate an environment for the advance and development of the technology. WASE will promote the interactions between the engineers; advancing the application of engineering techniques from the academics to the industry; and facilitate the exchange of information and ideas among the engineers and scientists freely.
